Holly Bulford is an artist currently working in Kent, as a fine art photographer she captures urban landscapes. Often she uses her photography as a foundation and reworks into computerized embroidery.
Her work currently still in progress is a embroidery project titled 'Fifteen Minutes', which is a showcase of portraits produced in embroidery, using the colour palette of pop art. The series is inspired by Andy Warhol and his projection of what fame will become, which is a fifteen minute spectacle. In her work Bulford is aiming to give her subjects their own fifteen minutes. This work will be presented in Free Range, Brick Lane June 2017. |
